Electrical Engineering “All-Star” Candidate, #61765

“A sense of humor is part of the art of leadership, of getting along with people, of getting things done.”  Dwight D. Eisenhower

I really like this quote from President Eisenhower about how a sense of humor is a part of leadership and getting along with others to get things done.

It is a cliche but there is no “I” in team. So in today’s manufacturing World of Work, it’s difficult, if not impossible, to get things done if you’re unable to get along with others and work in a team oriented setting.  Having a sense of humor, helps to get things done in that team oriented setting.

This week, we’re representing an Electrical Engineering “All-Star” candidate who has a diverse and well rounded background working in a team that engineers complex, custom automated production machinery.  As the sole electrical engineer in the team, he has to be comfortable wearing different engineering hats.  On a typical project, he may do electrical design using AutoCAD Electrical in addition to using Altium for PCB design.  Depending on the system, he may be required to program PLCs from scratch or do firmware programming of machine controls in C++.  It’s also not uncommon for him to use Solidworks to design mechanical components and enclosures.

After almost 4 years in his current organization, this Electrical Engineering “All-Star” is ready to make the transition to a new manufacturing organization where he can apply his diverse engineering experience in a team oriented, cross functional environment.

Could your team “get more done” if you had an Electrical Engineering “All-Star” who will get along with your team members and do what it takes to get things done?  If so, please give me a call or email to discuss how this Electrical Engineering “All-Star” can help your engineering team get more done in the upcoming new year.

Best Regards,

Cliff
