Walt Disney is definitely a doer having created Mickey Mouse and opening Disneyland as just a couple of his many accomplishments.  Engineering “All-Stars” are doers too as I like to think of them as the persons who are doing the things to build the complex machines or products we use or encounter every day in our lives.

This week, I’m highlighting a mechanical design engineering “All-Star” who has experience doing the engineering tasks needed to design and deliver high speed custom automated machinery.  He’s a “doer” as he’ll review customer specifications after receipt of an order and then do the design, layout, drawings and calculations needed to complete the machine.  He then works with production personnel helping with troubleshooting during the assembly process.

This mechanical design engineering “All-Star” is now starting to explore direct hire career opportunities as he completes an interim assignment with an area manufacturer.  He’d love to start “doing” mechanical engineering work in a challenging direct hire role this summer.
