Production Controls Management “All-Star” Candidate #61735
“Success is how high you bounce when you hit bottom.” George S. Patton
This quote from George Patton struck a chord with me as I thought about how easy it is to hit bottom when you’re working in a manufacturing environment. Based on my personal manufacturing experiences, I know that Murphy’s law often applies when trying to get a part out the door on time. From not having a needed raw material to complete a production run to having production delays due to manufacturing bottlenecks. When you hit bottom in manufacturing, you need a production planning “All-Star” to ensure that you “bounce” high enough to get out of a jam or better yet ensure that you never get into trouble in the first place.
This week, we’re representing a production planning “All-Star” candidate who has production control and planning expertise within a fast paced tier one automotive manufacturing setting. He’s currently responsible for procurement, scheduling, and manufacturing planning for a multi-site Tier One manufacturer that does stamping, welding and assembly of automotive components. He’s helped his current employer become more successful by making improvements to the supply chain and production planning processes for existing products and new product launches..
He hasn’t bounced or hit bottom but is now exploring new opportunities where he can build professionally in a production control management role here in the greater Chicagoland area.
Could your manufacturing operations be more successful with additional production planning and control expertise? If so, please give me a call or email to discuss how this production planning “All-Star” can help you improve your operational metrics before he lands in a new manufacturing home.
Best Regards,
Cliff
