Industrial Engineering “All-Star” Candidate #61397
“Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.” Steve Jobs
I never thought about design as being how it works. Yet, I guess there is always someone behind that design who made sure that it works whether we’re talking about the I-Phone or a manufacturing line.
This made me think of an industrial engineering “All-Star” we’re representing. As an industrial engineer, he’s the person who makes sure that “it works.” In his case, he’s responsible for process design, process improvement and addressing any ad hoc production issues to ensure that “manufacturing in his plant works smoothly.”
This early career engineer has a mechanical engineering background and recently got trained as a Six Sigma Green Belt. Due to recent cutbacks in his plant, he’s starting to explore new career opportunities where he can apply himself and build upon his engineering experience to design manufacturing systems and processes so that they work better.
Could your manufacturing team benefit from an engineering “All-Star” who would focus on process design and strive to make it work better for you? This industrial engineering “All-Star” is ready to evaluate your process to see how it looks and feels in a bid to make it work better.
Please call 312.226.4916 or email [email protected] to schedule a time to discuss how this industrial engineering “All-Star” could make an impact on your engineering team or if you have any other staffing needs we can be of help with.
