One of my previous bosses used to say that there’s no such thing as luck, only preparation, hard work and perseverance.  I agree with that statement as it’s our actions and decisions that we make every day which determine outcomes, not chance.

That’s why I like and wanted to highlight Stephen Covey’s quote this week.  It’s an ideal segue to this week’s Manufacturing Human Resources “All-Star” candidate as he’s ready to take the next step and transition to a larger manufacturing Human Resources leadership role as either Director or VP.  He’s currently working for a leading manufacturer of engineered industrial products where he has multi-site general human resources leadership experience.  He started his manufacturing career with an automotive tier supplier that did metal fabrication, stamping, and assembly work.
